HKUST International Summer Exchange Program (ISP) is scheduled to be held from 19 June to 12 August 2023.  ISP 2023 will offer a wide range of credit-bearing courses, activities and excursions for students to gain insight into the Asian culture.  Similar to previous years, the program is open to our exchange partners only.

Key Dates

• Program dates: 19 June to 12 August 2023
• Residential period: 15 June to 12 August 2023 (both nights inclusive)

Deadlines

• Nomination deadline (by partners): 20 February 2023
• Application deadline (by students): 1 March 2023
• Visa application deadline: 20 March 2023
• Payment Deadline: 20 April 2023

Fees

• Tuition fees waived under formal exchange agreement
• HK$10,000 will be charged to cover (1) University housing fee, (2) HKUST compulsory travel insurance fee, (3) Student visa application and handling fee*

Courses

• Study load: 1 to 3 undergraduate-level courses. Minimum and maximum credit load is 3 credits and 9 credits. Most of our courses are of 3 credits.
• Tentative course list and course schedule: Expected to be available in January and April 2023 respectively.
