DAAD Graduation Scholarships for international students
International students may apply to the International Office for a degree completion grant. A very limited amount of funding is available for these grants through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masterstudies at UBT
- enrollment in a degree programme
- above-average academic performance
- volunteering or social engagement
- You are in the final stages of your degree and have already registered your thesis
The assessment of applications is based primarily on academic performance as well as on social or community engagement. Funding is provided at a rate of €500/month for 3 months.
Application
Please submit the following documents in the online application form:
- Certificate of enrolment
- Copies of your passport and residence permit
- Official Transcript of Records from the University of Bayreuth showing all credits/grades obtained and your current overall average grade
- Proof that your final thesis (bachelor’s or master’s thesis) has been officially registered
- CV in tabular form
- Motivational Letter
