Thinking without borders.

A quarter of the doctoral researchers at our university are from abroad. However, it is not just our young scholars who are international. Our campus hosts students, instructors, and researchers from more than 100 different countries.

The University of Bayreuth currently offers 22 innovative programmes offered in English and French. We also have a broad selection of courses taught in foreign languages as well as bilateral and multi-lateral dual degree programmes and a number of international summer programmes. In addition, many research projects are carried out in cooperation with international partners, and numerous doctoral projects are being carried out together with international universities.
