In 2025, BayCHINA continues to promote the exchange of Bavarian universities with China. The application deadlines for the scholarship program “Study Stays in China” this year are:

• May 31, 2025, for the winter semester 25/26
  
• November 15, 2025, for the summer semester 26
  

Additionally, BayCHINA offers a 4 weeks summer school, offering a deep dive into todays China. The program will take place in Qingdao and consists of classes and lectures, workshops, and cultural activities and trips.

Program period:

• August 8 – September 5, 2025
  

Application Deadline:

• April 30, 2025

Fees:

BayCHINA bears the expenses for the program in Qingdao (language class, material, summer school shirt, bus transport, lectures, museum and company visits, etc.)

Not included are visa, airfare, accommodation (the dormitory in Qingdao offers both double and single rooms), personal expenses, meals (at the university cafeteria)

Additionally, a mandatory three-day preparation meeting will take place in Bayreuth from May 23-25, 2025.
