The Meiji University invites students to join their short-term Japanese Language Program in 2026! The program offers two levels of Japanese language classes, matching the needs of students at an A2 level (JLPT N4 level) up to a B1 level (JLPT N3-2). The program also includes project work and exchange activities with Meiji University students, cultural experiences and a day trip.

Program Period:

• Feb 2 – Feb 13, 2026

Students will take an online test for their Japanese level after application. Students are advised to apply earlier to ensure a longer test period for the students convenience!

Applications may be closed when the capacity is reached!

Fees:

• 90,000 JPY (approx. USD 597)
  

Accommodation is not provided for the students, students are expected to arrange their own accommodation.

The program is approved by the JASSO scholarship program. Students from Meiji University partner institutions who meet the criteria can receive a scholarship of 80,000 JPY (approx USD 530) at the end of the program.
