The Kyoto University of Foreign Studies offers a Japanese Language Summer Program, inviting students from all over the world to improve their Japanese language skills in a language focused program, including cultural classes, conversation classes with KUFS students, and a study trip.

Program period:

• July 7 – July 24, 2025

Application:

• March 1 – March 20, 2025

Applications might be closed early when the maximum capacity of 30 students is reached. Application is first come - first serve based.

Fees:

• JPY 300,000 (approx. 1914€) general
• JPY 270,000 (approx. 1723€) partner university students

Includes tuition, class materials, accommodation (twin/double rooms in a nearby hotel), study trip & activities, transportation pass (between accommodation and KUFS)

Does not include airfare, transportation from/to the airport, travel insurance, visa application fee, other personal expenses
