The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has launched the Intelligent Planet Hackathon­ - a global competition inviting students to create AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges using Gemini, Vertex AI, and Google Cloud technologies.

The hackathon welcomes participation from students worldwide, offering finalists the opportunity to receive Google Cloud upskilling programs, cash rewards, and a fully sponsored trip to Saudi Arabia for the final event.
