The Hanyang University invites students to their Winter School Programm 2025, offering various courses, club activities, exciting day trips and hands-on workshops to experience Korean culture. The university offers two different time slots for their winter school, students are free to choose one or even both options. The sessions each offer an variety of courses, spanning from business and engineering to Korean studies and various sports and arts! Students can take up to two courses, earning up to 5 credits.

For students interested in gaining more work experience, the university also offers an internship program supported by online courses and with an option for interns to join the club activities as well!

HIWS Sessions A&B:

Program period:

• Dec 26, 2025 – Jan 9, 2026 (Session A)
• Jan 26 – Feb 6, 2026 (Session B)

• Nov 22, 2025 (Session A, A&B)

Fees:

• Tuition and Application:
• 1,700,000 KRW (approx. USD 1,219) for Session A or B
• A 200,000 KRW scholarship is available for students who apply and join the program until Oct 31st.
• 2,700,000 KRW (approx. USD 1,935) for Session A&B
• A 700,000 KRW scholarship is available for students who apply and join the program until Oct 31st.

Dormitory:

• On-Campus Dormitory rooms are offered for both sessions, for each session ranging from 300,000 – 400,000 KRW (approx. USD 215 – 287). For session B, off-campus housing is offered as well, costs ranging from KRW 450,000 – 800,000 (approx. USD 323-573).

HIWS Internship:

Internship participants will be matched with companies based on their area of interest after a short interview. All participants are required to join one online course that has been pre-recorded to allow students to choose their study pace.

Fees:

• KRW 3,100,000 (approx. USD 2,222)
• An early bird discount of KRW 200,000 is available for students who apply until October 10th!
