Summer School of Economics and Business (SSEB)

From June 30th – July 25th 2025, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is hosting the 9th edition of the Summer School of Economics and Business (SSEB) and the 2nd edition of the Tourism Summer School. It is a unique opportunity to broaden your horizons in one of the most beautiful and liveliest cities of the world, while studying at a top university.
The programs expose the students to a truly international environment. So far, the SSEB had 304 students from 59 countries. The academic excellence of the summer courses is complemented by social and cultural events, as well as field trips, which are not offered during the regular fall and spring semesters.
The SSEB targets students keen to gain academic enrichment in cutting-edge Economics and Business disciplines, such as Climate Change Economics, Financial Management in Multinational Firms, Designing and Implementing Global Marketing Programs, Business Negotiation Processes, etc.

It is a two-week intensive course of 6 ECTS credits, taught in English, covering the following topics: Environmental policy and sustainable tourism; cutting-edge technology applied to tourism activities; human resource management; hospitality finance; exploring AI to better understand customer satisfaction; and culture, history, leisure, and attractions management in Madrid.
There is an option to enrol only in the first two weeks of the SSEB (June 30th – July 11th 2025) for students in the Tourism Summer School and in the Climate Change Summer School.
Tuition fees are subjects to discounts for students from any university that promotes the programs of UAM to their students (partner), and for early-bird applications.
