Archelon, a nonprofit conservation organization, offers volunteer spots and internship for their projects, protecting and taking care of loggerhead turtles along several beaches in Greece, as well as researching in their own research center near Athens.

The research center is open all year round for volunteers and interns; at the beaches, volunteers and interns may join a project to protect the turtle nesting activities or monitor them in a foraging area during summer
