The Hokkaido University invites students and non-students to their Summer Institute 2025! Supported by more than 130 researchers from all over the globe, the Summer Institute offers over 150 courses to undergraduate and graduate students and non-students. Each course will be conducted in English, and is worth 1 or 2 credits, thus running one or two weeks, so students can tailor their own summer program according to interests and their own schedule. Many courses offer an online option.

Program Period:

• June-October, 2025, depending on the individual courses
  

Application Period:

• 3 -10 March, 2025 (all courses, first application period)

Fees:

• JPY 1,500 HSI Online System fee (must be paid when applying)
  

1 Credit Course

• JPY 14,800
  

2 Credits Course

• JPY 29,600
  

Fees for working adults/non-students differ.

The fee only includes the tuition, students are expected to find their own accommodation etc.
