The Hanyang University invites students to their renewed Hanyang International Summer School! This time, the university collaborates with the Jeju National University and the Waseda University in Tokyo to give students the option to take part in the HYLION (Hanyang Linking Intercultural Opportunities Now) program.

Students can choose to join the HISS, the 4-weeks program, three weeks of that being spent in Seoul, taking courses at HYU from a large range of courses and joining in on club activities; while the last week will be spent on Jeju at the Jeju National University, offering special lectures and excursions.

Students who choose to join HYLION will enjoy the HISS program plus one more week in Tokyo, with special lectures, trips and events!

Program Period:

• June 29 – July 25, 2026 HISS, 4 weeks
  
• June 29 – August 1, 2026 HYLION, 5 weeks
  

Applications:

• Jan 1, 2026 – May 23, 2026 (Nomination Deadline April 16, 2026)
  

Fees:

• KRW 2,000,000 (Approx. USD 1356) HISS for partner universities
  
• Includes dormitory on Jeju, not in Seoul. Students are responsible for applying for the dormitories in Korea (on-campus or off-campus)
• Includes one-way airfare to Jeju
  
• KRW 5,000,000 (approx. USD 3390) HYLION
  
• Includes all dorms, excursions, lectures, one-way-airfare to Jeju and Tokyo, includes partial meals
