In February 2017, Vice President for International Affairs & Equal Opportunities Prof. Dr. Thomas Scheibel led a fact-finding mission to Melbourne following the Australian Colloid and Interface Symposium. The purpose of the trip was to identify additional points of contact for cooperation with the University of Melbourne and Monash University and strengthen strategic cooperation with these universities (Project website: www.melbourne.uni-bayreuth.de). Collaboration with La Trobe University was also intensified.
