Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (Republic of Uzbekistan) invites students of German universities to the International winter School “Samarkand - crossroads of cultures, religions and economic interests” Samarkand, Uzbekistan • March 6-24, 2023

The winter school aims at providing general information about the culture, economy, geography, and society of Uzbekistan, and giving a basic knowledge of the Uzbek and/or Russian languages.

Participants will have the opportunity to study the ancient history, cultural heritage, architectural monuments, and traditions of the nations of Central Asia and can take chances to complete their academic studies here. As well as participating students explore the issues and topics of common regional interest and start future international partnerships.
